Herman's Hermits and Peter Noone in Concert

Peter Noone and his Herman's Hermits performed on Saturday, Jan. 9th 2010 at the Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston.

This was an amazing concert! Peter Noone was joking and playing around imitating performers like Johnny Cash, Mick Jagger, and the Monkees. He is very good at impersonations.

Peter also talked about meeting John Lennon and he sings a Beatles song.

Peter Noone gained fame at the age of 15, when he became the "Herman" in Herman's Hermits.

The Herman's Hermits group sold 52 million records and had 24 golden hits. They even outsold the Beatles in 1965 with "I'm Henry VIII" and "Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter."

At this concert, Peter Noone joked that he wanted the audience to take pictures of him and the band "while we're still alive". Lots of people were shooting cell phone videos. I had my wonderful new Flip Camera that I got for Christmas.
